We are looking for a PMO Officer to join our TPG Maritime Ltd team in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward thinking team, who are working on sharing innovative solutions or manufacturing bespoke engineering systems.
This PMO Officer position sits within our bespoke engineering solutions side of the business, where we develop life-support systems in critical workspace, oxygen and carbon capture based solutions, water purification, rugged electronics for harsh environments and precision engineering of high-integrity equipment.
This PMO Officer position will be to support the Head of Projects in the mapping of, and subsequent optimisation of the project life cycle. You will also be required to support and assist the PMs in their adherence to the new processes during the lifecycle of the projects. When delivering this role you will also be required to map the current processes used for the delivery of projects across TPG Maritime Ltd. Other duties will include to assist in the creation of overarching procedures for the governance of projects. Develop the visual management tools for project / NPI delivery. You will also be required to support the Head of Projects and Project Managers with administrative tasks.
To deliver this role you will be required to have excellent communication skills, along with exceptional planning and organisational skills. You will have working knowledge of the project management process, with proven experience in mapping business improvement processes. Ideally, you will have worked with Prince or MSP packages in a commercial environment.
