Future Surface Fleet Virtual Event 2020

tpgroup is showcasing its maritime capabilities at the Future Surface Fleet (FSF) Virtual event which takes place from 3rd to 4th June 2020. The organisers have decided to run the event virtually with a revised agenda – given the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19 and the UK government’s latest guidance.

The image shows HMS St Albans during an intercept and escort of Russian Missile Cruiser The Marshall Ustinov in the Channel. It illustrates the types of naval vessels that tpgroup has supported including Type 23 and Type 26.

The event will explore the wide range of programmes being conducted by nations and how new and changing technologies will influence the maritime environment over the next 25 years. FSF is run by Defence Leaders in partnership with the UK Ministry of Defence and de&s – supported by the UK Royal Navy. Speakers include Rear Admiral Jean-Mathieu Rey, Director of the Fleet Support Service, French Navy; Captain Gustavo Vergara; Commanding Officer of the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Centre, US Navy Europe; Rear Admiral Yves Dupont ADC, Head of the Systems Division, Belgian Directorate General of Material Resources and tpgroup’s James Rickwood.
