P3M governance - creating a structure for success
  • P3M set-up - design and implementation of the P3M processes, organisation, tools and techniques .
  • Deliver enterprise change.
  • Manage benefits, scope, plan and schedule, cost and resources and stakeholders.

  • Deliver robust, holistic and timely management information to underpin decision making.
  • Establish the delivery baseline plan through stakeholder engagement, scope identification, understanding of cost and resources, risks and opportunities, identification of assumptions and dependencies and creation of a project management plan and stakeholder artefacts.
P3M delivery - managing effective delivery
  • P3M leadership: Provision of P3M leadership to integrate, manage and deliver activities and products using assigned resources.
  • Strategy & Plan: Implementation, management and maintenance of the Strategy and Plan containing Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) and Product Breakdown Structure (PBS).
  • Plan review: Reviews and resets the WBS, OBS and PBS throughout the lifecycle to ensure it is always effective and appropriate.
  • Quality/Progress reviews: Implementation of reviews across the system/service lifecycle to assess progress and the quality of output.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Working with internal and external system stakeholders to identify and clarify the dependencies and associated risks, issues and assumptions.
  • Ongoing management: Effective Management and control of resources, costs and timescales.
P3M controls - tracking and reporting progress
  • Control function: Delivery of management and control functions required to track, review, and report P3M performance.
  • Ongoing reviews: Ensuring currency and alignment of P3M benefits, scope, plan and schedule, cost and resources, risks and opportunities and stakeholder artefacts.
  • Reporting and escalation: Delivery of P3M reporting and escalation against agreed thresholds.
  • Effective Management Information (MI): Provision of robust, holistic and timely MI to underpin P3M decision making.
  • Integrated change control across P3M: benefits, scope, plan and schedule, cost and resources, risks and opportunities and stakeholder artefacts.
