Veterans support
Supporting the transition from military life
We recognise the invaluable experience and skillsets that ex-armed forces personnel can bring to a defence business that is committed to making a safer world. Currently more than 30% of our workforce is made up of veterans and their contribution is indispensable both to us and our clients.
Within TP Group we have a Veterans' Community of Interest Group which is run by, and for the benefit of, our colleagues from the armed forces. This Group provides a point of contact for new joiners and an on-going source of support and advice; it is a vital part of our on-boarding process in which ex veterans feel valued and supported making the transition into civilian life as seamless as possible.
If you are considering your next steps after a career in the military we have a range of opportunities which are perfectly suited to your experiences and skills.
Joining TP Group will enable you to work alongside other colleagues who are ex-military personnel and who have made the transition before you. They will support, mentor and advise you, helping to alleviate any worries you may have and give you the confidence you are on the right career path.
Our continual training programme means that your skills will develop alongside your new role.
Many of our senior leaders are from the armed forces, here is what they have to say about supporting those making the transition into civilian life:
